Care workers must be registered with a long-term care facility and have worked in long-term care services before they can take the special training designated by the Ministry.

[Course highlights]
✦ Long-term care credits: Applied for. Eligible for the AA11 care package add-on.
✦ In-person class: Up to 50 participants per class. No exam after the course.
✦ Certificate: Issued on the last day of training (you must attend the whole course, hold a long-term care card and be registered with a long-term care facility).
✦ Regular sessions: Classes are held every month.

[Course fees]
✦ Early-bird price for individuals: NT$1,700 per person per course (regular price NT$2,200).
✦ Group discount: NT$1,500 per person per course for groups of two or more.
✦ Electronic handouts are provided before class begins, and slides are shown on a 100-inch projector in class (printed handouts are available for purchase).
✦ Printed handouts: dementia course NT$300 per copy, disability course NT$300 per copy, or NT$600 for both.
